Barriers Vancouver ("we", "us", "our") operates barriersvancouver.ca (the "Site"). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given), company name (if given) and details about your rental such as dates, city or venue address, quantity or area to enclose. We do not require you to create an account and we do not ask for payment information on the Site.
We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, to keep the Site secure and running.
2. Why we collect it
We use your information only to:
- prepare and send you a rental quote
- respond to your questions
- arrange and fulfill a rental if you proceed
- keep records required for our business and by law
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for marketing unless you have separately agreed to receive marketing messages.
3. Consent
By submitting the quote form or contacting us, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see section 8), subject to legal or contractual limits.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Site and respond to you — for example our website and form host and our email provider. These providers process the information on our behalf and only for the purposes above. Some may store data outside Canada, and where that happens the information may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then securely delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by PIPEDA.
